Hey guys. I finally installed the 4" exhaust on my 2002 HUMMER. I was worried it would be too loud, but it is not loud at all. It has a nice deep tone. Secondly, the exhaust gas temp is at least 300 degrees lower then with standard. Also, the turbo spools...

Nice! After stalling and not starting, I pulled my hair out trying to figure out what was wrong. After reading the FAQ, I ordered the FSD that night. The next day I installed it in 10 minutes and the truck runs like never before. The #9 resistor gives a...

Chevy GM Stanadyne Turbo Diesel DB2-4911 mechanical injection pump completely remanufactured upgraded and warranted by SSDiesel SupplyTM, a trusted name in 6.5TD solutions. All wear parts replaced whether they test bad or not, including the rotor head.

Fits all 1992-1993 GM 6.5 Turbo Diesels in C/K pick-ups, Suburbans, G vans (Express and Savana), with a mechanical injection pump. For non-turbo trucks use ssd-5088 instead.

Compare price only to those remans replacing the head assy with a new upgraded head. Most rebuilders leave the head if tests ok and can offer cheaper. We will never cut corners. The head on these pumps has a tendancy to warp with heat and is the #1 source of failure, and if not replaced/upgraded, is just destined to fail. We replace the head everytime with new upgraded Stanadyne heads that solve the warpage problem.

Symptoms of failure include hard starting when hot (common head warpage problem) Poor mileage, rough running, heavy smoke, loss of power.

The mechanical pump can be easily/safely adjusted for more power. With purchase, upon request, I will furnish detailed instructions on how to adjust for more power if you already have a 4" exhaust, EGT & Boost gauges, and means to raise boost to 12-15psi with a ssd-7401 actuator or similar. You must confirm this before we can send the procedure.

I recommend our Haynes Manual ssd-330 if your first time replacing a pump for the basics. Then if you have any further questions, please use the contact page on the website for tech support.

Gaskets not included and sold separately as p/n ssd-306A.
