6.5 Turbo Diesel 3"x4" Turbo Downpipe, mandrel bent aluminized steel for all 92+ C/K trucks, Suburbans and Tahoes.
Made in USA on a CNC mandrel bending machine and a perfect fit. It installs using the stainless belly-band clamp over with no gasket required at the turbo connection. (if yours is damaged, we sell that special clamp as p/n ssd-559 in this category). Either attach directly to your custom 3" or 4" exhaust, or adapt to fit your existing stock system by the method of your choice. This downpipe begins at the turbo as 3" and then turns to 4" as soon as it clears the frame and inner fender. It is the largest downpipe that will fit a 6.5TD
The stock downpipe is the most restrictive part of your exhaust system. Even more then the muffler. Take a look at it...it looks like GM ran it over first several times before installing it on your truck! It has kinks, dents and gouges in it, restricting exhaust flow exiting your turbo. This 3"x4" (stock is 2.25") piece improves flow and will allow your turbo to spool up faster and improve boost.
