Oil Cooler Hose Adaptor Fitting for all 6.5's 92 thru 97-1/2. This fitting is what adapts the oil cooler hose to the engine block. It is a common source of leakage and often confused as a leaking oil cooler hose. 99% of the time, its only this fitting leaking, not the hose itself.
This fitting has 3/8" male pipe threads. If you have a 97 vehicle, check your size first. If 1/2" threads, purchase the ssd-502 instead.
If you have an oil leak where the oil cooler hoses meet the block near the oil filter, this fitting is the culprit. It contains a seal that allows the hose to swivel with engine movement. Once it drys out with age, it leaks engine oil. Installs in minutes.
