Replacement fuel strainer for all 6.5 C/K pick-ups, Suburbans and Tahoes 92-00, and all 6.5 vans 94-95. This strainer goes inside the fuel filter housing and is the last line of defence against any debris entering the injection pump, should the fuel filter element fail. It should be checked and cleaned when ever the filter element is replaced. Replace this strainer if your's is damaged or missing. Check to make sure its there. The last person to change your filter may have thrown it away! It measures approximately 5/8" X 3/4". Its cheap insurance against injection pump failure from debris entering the pump
