Four Wheel Drive Upgrade Actuator Adaptor Harness. Allows the use of upgrade actuator  ssd-600101 in 96-97 (build date from 1/96) K series trucks originally equipped with the standard thermal actuator ssd-019 from the factory. WILL NOT FIT 1997 K3500 trucks, see p/n ssd-6319). The OE thermal linear actuator became a common nuisance item to replace. The upgrade actuator available as p/n ssd-600101 is more reliable in cold weather. It is not a direct replacement, it requires this harness adapter kit ssd-600600 to install. This harness is mostly plug-in, except for one wire that must be spliced in. Directions and schematics are provided. Only very basic electrical knowledge is required. Worst case an hour to install (blindfolded)
