Genuine OEM Stanadyne Replacement Diesel Fuel heater for all 6.5TD equipped C/K trucks and Suburbans 92-00. This is the heater located inside your fuel filter. It preheats your fuel in cold weather to prevent gelling and to promote easier starting. It installs in minutes and includes a new o-ring. Simply unscrew the ring on the bottom of the housing (just like the ring on the top to change the filter) to replace the heater. Then just plug-in and go!

Symptoms of heater failure are, fuse blowing, poor starting, fuel starvation in cold weather (acts like supply pressure is low), rough cold running. This heater is not an option, your 6.5TD came from the factory with one and it is necessary to have working in cold weather.
